Metro Atlanta, Georgia can get ready again for more expected snow and sleet in the forecast. So make sure to stock up on food and prepare to keep warm for the cold weather coming our way. Most of the rain moved out of the state Monday morning, but the next round of winter weather moves in after midnight. A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 12 a.m. in northeast Georgia and 2 a.m. in metro Atlanta.
Snow and Sleet

According to meteorologist Karen Minton “A weather system is coming our way that includes Atlanta metro and all of north Georgia. The timing is going to bringing in some light snow and a little rain/snow mix at first then switching over to all snow” ….. the computer models, the snow could fall as far south as below Atlanta, Minton said.
The weather could move out of the area by late Monday morning. With rest of the week we will see chances for rain with temperatures in the upper 30s and 40s through the weekend.
