Mercedes-Benz USA now calls Atlanta, GA home for their company headquarters. The company made the decision to relocate their headquarters from New Jersey to Atlanta. This is major news for the Atlanta luxury industry with the automaker being ranked 94th on Fortune’s list of Best Companies. Atlanta, Georgia is also home to 18 Fortune 500 companies currently headquartered in Georgia (and 27 Fortune 1000 companies).
In large part, Georgia is one of the most business-friendly states in the country due to their cost savings (state job-tax credits, exemptions, development funds and lower corporate-tax rates, for starters) and Atlanta’s strategic location (namely, access to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport).
