Candler Park Fall Festival 2017

Here is the rundown of the local faves to do at this year’s Candler Park Fall Festival!  An estimated 15,000 daily festival goers are expected.

1. Tour of Homes

On Sunday, October 1st, 2017 from Noon to 6 p.m. gather to see the wonderful collection of residences. Tickets are $25 the day of the event, purchase advance tickets now.

You will get to experience what is possible when one chooses a habitat based on efficient space as you enjoy the condo on the tour. But make no mistake. In no way does this result in small living. A community pool and generous park space are right outside the door along with easy access to the restaurants, shops, theaters and conveniences to enjoy. Many of the homes will display their significant art collections, much created by local artists.

Be on the alert! Rumor has it that there may be a culinary treat or two at some of your stops. What would a Tour of Homes be without a surprise or two?

2. 5K & Fun Run

Registration Opens at 7:30 AM September 30th 2017.  5K race starts at 9am, Fun Run starts at 10am. Trek the twists, turns and hills of the beautiful Candler Park neighborhood and the Freedom Trail. Both races start and finish  near the intersection of Terrace Ave. NE and Marlbrook Ave. NE. All 5K runners receive a Fall Fest 2017 t-shirt at the finish and free beer or drink ticket good at Fall Fest in Candler Park.

3. Kidlandia

FREE entertainment for festival-going children and their grown-ups.  This growing area of our festival will evoke a feeling from yesteryear: a carnival-like atmosphere with rides, live shows, roving entertainers, and sweet treats to satisfy the child in all of us.

4. Food Trucks
